On-piste vs off-piste
Standard winter sports cover applies on marked, open pistes. Off-piste skiing is covered when accompanied by a qualified guide. Backcountry, heli-skiing and ski touring need a specialist upgrade.
Equipment
Owned and hired ski equipment is covered up to £750 with a £400 single-item limit. High-end skis or boards may need scheduled cover — talk to us.
Annual or single trip
If you ski twice a year (e.g. Christmas + Easter), annual winter sports is almost always cheaper than two single trip policies.
