What you'll need

Your policy number and date of incident
Booking confirmations and itinerary
Medical reports (for medical claims)
Police report within 24 hours (for theft / loss)
Property Irregularity Report (for airline-handled baggage)
Receipts for everything claimed

Most claims are notified within 28–31 days of returning home — please don't wait if paperwork is missing, you can always send it later.
